Jordan Diedrich – Board President – City of Scottsbluff
Jordan was born and raised in Colorado. His parents are John and Viann and he has six other siblings. Jordan earned his Bachelor Degree from Hastings College in Nebraska, where he also met his wife Amanda. Jordan has been working for the City of Scottsbluff since April of 2016 and is currently the Deputy Director of Public Works. He also has a two year old daughter named Olivia.

Kylie Wilson – Board Secretary – NE Dept. Health & Human Services
Kylie graduated from Chadron State College in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and from Boston University in 2013 with a Master’s in Criminal Justice. Kylie has worked for the State of Nebraska since 2012 at Health and Human Services. Kylie became involved in NEXT through helping with the Beer and Wine Fest. Kylie enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
Sierra Ostdiek – Board Public Relations Coordinator – Panhandle Coop
Sierra was born and raised in Gering and graduated from Gering High School. She attended WNCC and played for the 2009 and 2010 teams. After WNCC, Sierra attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology with a minor in Psychology. In her spare time she enjoys sewing, playing volleyball and spending time with family and friends.
Garrett Treffer – Board Treasurer – Wells Fargo Advisors
Garrett was born and raised in the panhandle, where he graduated from Scottsbluff High School. Garrett earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Chadron State College. After a short time away from the area, Garrett returned to Scottsbluff, where he currently works as a Financial Advisor for Wells Fargo.
Karissa Chizek – Board Social Chair – First State Bank
She grew up half of her life in a family of 9 in Thedford Ne and then moved to Oshkosh Ne where she graduated high school in 2011. She attended WNCC and after a 6 year hiatus returned and finished her associates degree in 2020. She is married with 1 beautiful sassy 3 year old little girl. They currently reside in Scottsbluff and she is employed as a data processor in operations at First State Bank. Her free time is spent playing video games with her husband, watching movies as a family, and tent camping.
Spencer Rien – Board Member – America’s SBDC – NE
Spencer was born and raised in the panhandle where he graduated from Mitchell High School. Spencer earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration Degrees at Chadron State College, where he met his wife Whitney. After finishing school Spencer returned to the area he grew up and currently works at the Nebraska Business Development Center. He is excited to be a part of NEXT where he can be more involved and give back to the community.
Clint Bergman – Board Member – Bytes Computer & Network Solutions
Clint is an IT Professional with over 20 years’ experience ranging from supporting traditional desktops to the design, implementation and maintenance of networks, servers, storage, and virtualization. Even though he loves technology, he would rather be backpacking with his family and hiking the outdoors, completed unplugged.
Amanda Otto – Board Member – Platte Valley Bank
Amanda was born and raised in Scottsbluff and graduated from Scottsbluff High School. She joined the Air Force for 6 years and returned to the panhandle. Amanda attended Chadron State College to finish her Bachelor’s Degree and now works at Platte Valley Bank. She is working toward running a marathon or ultramarathon in every state and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Ashley Votruba – Board Member – Western Heritage Fed Credit Union
Ashley grew up in a small town in the Panhandle. In 2012 her and her family moved to Gering for more opportunities. She works as the Branch Manager at Wester Heritage Federal Credit Union. She is excited to be a part of NEXT young professionals and become more involved in her community. Ashley and her husband Joe, stay busy with their 2 children and their extra activities. They enjoy being outdoors and time spent with family.
Melissa Folot – Board Member – American National Insurance
Melissa graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2008, she started her journey with insurance working in claims. When she moved to Scottsbluff in 2014 she decided to move into the agency side of insurance and become a producer. Melissa continued in the producer role after moving to Cheyenne, WY in 2016. Melissa decided to become an agent herself and opened her American National Insurance agency October of 2019 in Torrington, WY. Melissa quickly recognized the need for a second location in Gering and opened in June of 2020. In her spare time Melissa, her husband Matt and their kids enjoy gardening, taking care of their chickens, honey bees and dogs, brewing their own beer, camping and spending time with family and friends.
Kevin Wolverton – Board Member – Western States Bank
Kevin was born and raised in Bayard, Nebraska, earned his bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and his Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. Kevin and his wife Valerie have returned to Bayard and once again call it home. Kevin is an avid hunter and pretty much enjoys anything that involves the outdoors.
Christa Pelster – Board Member – Monument Mall
Christa Pelster born and raised in the Scottsbluff Gering area. I love being active in the community and participating and helping where and when I can. My occupation is the Property Manager for RockStep Capital and The Monument Mall. I absolutely love my job and being able to also be part of a center that is well know to all in the community. I look forward to meeting everyone in NEXT and gaining new professional relationships.
Adam Hoesing – Past President – Simmons Olsen Law Firm
Adam is a 2009 graduate of Chadron State College, and received his law degree from the Univerity of Nebraska College of Law in 2012. He has been with Simmons Olsen Law Firm since 2012. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
